Read about last years event HERE Please NoteThis is the third year we have ran this event. Formally known as 'MicroBiz' - Due to trademarking issues, 2008 was the last year Worthing First were able to call this event 'MicroBiz' - Trademark was reeled back in by Horsham Council, who trademarked the brand 'MicroBiz' - Therefore Worthing First have adopted the word 'Enterprise' Fair to move the annual event forward. This is a very positive step, as the word 'microbiz' was often looked upon as a negative word, meaning both 'tiny' - which the Enterprise Fair is not about... and 'computers' again not what the Enterprise Fair is about. So, we've moved away from MicroBiz - Enterprise is the future ;) (for over twenty years, our schools have taught the word 'enterprise' through 'enterprise days' to mean 'business minded' and 'entrepreneur' - hence our adoption. If we can connect with our youth and inspire them to do business, then we're on the right track. |
