He was actually talking about how a tadpole grows into a big frog... But we felt it was, kind of, apt ;) This year's Worthing First MicroBiz took place at Worthing's Assembly Hall on Saturday 12th April. The event was totally FREE and attracted over 500 visitors. "you will find every useful contact you could ever need to grow your business, all on one day, all under the same roof" Over 50 Exhibitors - the A to Z of useful contactsWorthing First Microbiz 2008 was held on Saturday 12th April at the Assembly Hall, Worthing. From 10am till 4pm. The 2008 fair was a real success. A vast improvement on last years. MORE exhibitors... MORE seminars... and MORE visitors The annual MicroBiz fair is a free exhibition for all those who run a small or home-based business and also for anyone who has been thinking about making the break from their normal job and working for themselves. Download this years promotional flyer for more details As well as over 50 exhibitors and 16 seminars, you'll find the Small Business Clinic - where you can talk to the people who've had the experience, been there, done it, got the tee shirt. And every one through the door received a free Worthing First Goodie Bag, packed with useful information, special offers, vouchers, pens, fluffy things and other free stuff. Seminars included... Some of last years exhibitors included: ABCOM, BENNETT GRIFFIN, BOS RECRUITMENT, Please NoteDue to trademarking issues, 2008 was the last year Worthing First were able to call this event 'MicroBiz' - Trademark was reeled back in by Horsham Council, who trademarked the brand 'MicroBiz' - Therefore Worthing First have adopted the word 'Enterprise' Fair to move the annual event forward. This is a very positive step, as the word 'microbiz' was often looked upon as a negative word, meaning both 'tiny' - which the Enterprise Fair is not about... and 'computers' again not what the Enterprise Fair is about. So, we've moved away from MicroBiz - Enterprise is the future ;) |
