A ‘microbiz’ is defined as any small business with up to five employees. This award is designed to recognise the tiniest of businesses, which demonstrates that size doesn’t really matter.

A sponsor is required for the

MicroBiz of the Year 2008, in this years Worthing Business Awards

The sponsorship package consists of:

• 2 complimentary seats at the ceremony
• Your company name mentioned whenever the award is mentioned, both in print, on screen and verbally throughout all promotional activity before, during and after the awards.
• Logo's on all Worthing Business Awards promotional print and advertising. This includes:
• 20,000 awareness flyers
• 5,000 nomination forms
• Various full page editorials within the Worthing Herald (circ 40,000)
• Various mentions and interview on Splash FM
• Exhibition area on the night of the event

One thing you must consider when deciding to take up this exciting sponsorship opportunity is, do you really have the time?

Part of the sponsors responsinilities will be to help in the judging for this particular award. This will involve:

• Attending at least 3 meetings preceeding the ceremony in September/October, to collate, review and decide on a shortlist from entries.
• Email and telephone communitcation with the rest of your category judges
• Ability to attend the 'overall Business Of The Year' judging session the afternoon prior to the awards ceremony
• the ability to extreme secrecy. You can't tell a sole.
